Light tunnel with rigid light transmitting tube SRTThe SRT light tunnel’s main role is the same as the SLT light tunnel’s supplying the interior with the proper amount of natural light. The SRT light tunnel has a rigid light transmitting tube, made of aluminium and covered on its surface with a silver based and light reflective (98%) layer. The inside of the tube acts like a mirror. This type of light transmitting tube ensures that daylight is conveyed in huge quantities inside the interior.
The SRT light tunnel can be used in every kind of building, but because of its high effectiveness it can be installed in buildings where the daylight is transmitted into long distances (e. g. 12m). The light tunnel SRT PLUS version may also be used at night, after installing a light bulb.

 

 

Characteristic:

  • Light tunnel consists of the following parts: dome, flashing, rigid light transmitting tube, elbow, prismatic and transparent diffuser and ceiling frame

  • Silver based and light reflective layer used to convey the light inside the building features the highest (98%) reflective co-efficient

  • Angle adjustable elbow (element of the installation kit), gives the option to adjust the pitch of tube inclination (between 0 and 65 degrees) and helps to avoid construction obstacles during installation

  • Specially prepared flashings guarantee easy and watertight installation

  • Suitable for roofs with pitches between 15 and 60 degrees or for flat roof coverings (available to order)

  • There are three types of flashings available; for flat, profiled and high profiled roof coverings

  • 25 year warranty period for tube elements

  • 7 year warranty period for the ramaining light tunnel elements
