Flashings for Plain Tile Roof Coverings EPV

Description

Flashnings for Plain Tile Roof Coverings EPVEPV flashing is ideal for a fit between windows and heavy tiled roof coverings
such as: plain tiles, shingles. It can be applied to roof coverings of up to 24 – 32
mm (2 x 12 – 16 mm) thickness. It is applied to individual windows in the slope
of the roof. A series of window units may also be combined: in horizontal, vertical
and block groups. As standard, there is available EPV flashing, allowing the
installation of the window at a level V (0 cm). It can be used in a range of installations in roofs with pitches between 25° and 90. To individual order, there is also available flashing with additional thermal insulation EPV-T for slated and plain tiles roof coverings with thickness up to 16mm.

Constituents of the Flashing

This flashing is made up of lower, upper and side elements, dimensions of which are dependent on window height. The profiled side elements of the flashing are laid alternately with the roof covering, fitting tightly with it. The first two modular side elements are made from soft sheeting which allows it to flex and fit to the profile of the roof covering. The lower element has a plastic mat glued to the underside, which allows easy and secure connection to profiled roof covering. A gutter flap allows condensation to drain away from the window.
